Aaron Abrams stars in "Hannibal" on NBC as Brian Zeller.

Canadian actor Aaron Abrams previously played the recurring role of Ricky Lloyd in The CW's "The L.A. Complex," for which he also served as a co-executive producer. He also recurred in ABC's police drama "Rookie Blue," The CW's "Runaway" and the Canadian series "Slings and Arrows." In addition, he starred in the BBC political drama "The State Within" and voiced a character in the Canadian animated series "Producing Parker."

On the big screen, Abrams is best known for writing, executive producing and starring alongside Carly Pope in the independent "YPF," for which he and his writing partner, Martin Gero, won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Screenplay in 2009. Abrams has also been seen in "Jesus Henry Christ," starring Michael Sheen and Toni Collette, "Take This Waltz," alongside Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen, "The Chicago 8," opposite Gary Cole and Mayim Bialik, "Amelia," starring Hilary Swank, "Flash of Genius," opposite Greg Kinnear and Lauren Graham, and "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," starring Milla Jovovich.

Abrams studied at the DePaul Theatre School where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. He made his movie debut in 2003 in "The In-Laws," starring Albert Brooks and Michael Douglas.
