Aaron Lazar stars in "Onion News Network" on IFC as O'Brady Shaw, who is one of the network's fastest rising stars. in Dustin Lance Black's movie "J. Edgar" starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Clint Eastwood. In April 2011, he made his New York Philharmonic debut in a concert staging of Stephen Sondheim's "Company" alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert, and Patti Lupone. Aaron has appeared in 7 Broadway shows, originating roles in "A Tale of Two Cities," the world premiere of "Impressionism," starring Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen, the revival of "Les Miserables," for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination, "The Light in the Piazza" at Lincoln Center broadcast live on PBS, and the 2010 revival of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angela Lansbury, Bernadette Peters, and Elaine Stritch.

Lazar's symphony credits include the New York Pops under Steven Reineke celebrating the 80th birthday of Stephen Sondheim at Carnegie Hall, the National Symphony Orchestra under Marvin Hamlisch, playing the role of Billy Bigelow in the concert of "Carousel" with the Boston Pops under Keith Lockhart, and the role of Lt. Cable in "South Pacific" at The Hollywood Bowl under Paul Gemignani, starring Reba McEntire and Brian Stokes Mitchell. Lazar has also appeared internationally as Gabey in "On the Town" with The English National Opera, and Adam in the concert of the musical "Imagine This" with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra in Israel. In June 2011 he debuted his new solo concert "Milestones" at Feinstein's at Loew's Regency Hotel in New York City. Aaron's other film and television include "The Notorious Bettie Page," "Ugly Betty," "White Collar," "New Amsterdam," "All My Children," and appearances on "The Today Show" and "The View."

In addition to being an actor and a singer, Lazar is an entrepreneur whose company Integrated Arts merges his passions for the arts and education. Current projects include producing an educational documentary film package for high school and college students called "The Americana Project," and creating/producing "Broadway 101," a performance/masterclass that has been brought to various non-for-profit organizations including Lincoln Center, YMCA, and will soon be seen on television screens for patients throughout New York Presbyterian Hospital. And recently, Integrated Arts has provided premier Broadway entertainment for high end corporate events. He is also working with writers Jordan Allen Dutton and Arthur Bacon to develop a new pop/rock musical called "Phenomenon" inspired by "American Idol" and the Academy Award winning film "Network."

Lazar is a graduate of Cherry Hill High School West, Duke University, and has an MFA from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
