Adrienne Bailon stars as Chanel in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "The Cheetah Girls."  Chanel questions her mother's quest for an engagement ring as well as Galleria's suspicion of her new friend and music festival competitor Marisol.

Born in Manhattan's lower eastside to parents of Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian descent, Adrienne Bailon is a rising music artist who is part of the double platinum R&B/pop group 3LW. Adrienne Bailon has been singing since she was a child with the encouragement of her family and friends and counts among her role models and musical influences Celia Cruz, La Lupe and Selena.

Adrienne Bailon, along with Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, make up The Cheetah Girls, the multi-platinum pop and R&B girl group inspired by the best-selling "The Cheetah Girls" book series and the Disney Channel Original Movie.  Their CD, "Cheetah-licious Christmas," debuted in 2005.



Along with 3LW partner Kiely Williams (who's also a cast member of "The Cheetah Girls 2"), Adrienne Bailon earned two Lady of Soul Awards for "Best R&B/Soul Album for a Group" and "Best New R&B/Soul Band or Duo" in 2001.

In addition to her role in "The Cheetah Girls," Adrienne Bailon has a recurring role on Disney Channel's hit series "That's So Raven," playing Raven's nemesis Alana Rivera, and a role in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Buffalo Dreams." Adrienne Bailon also co-starred in the MTV movie "All You've Got," which features an all-star cast including multi-platinum singer Ciara.
