Aiden Turner from "Dancing with the Stars" is one of the celebrity contestants in Season 10 of the ABC reality ballroom competition series. He teams up with professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska who is the only pro to compete in all 10 seasons of "Dancing with the Stars."

Emmy-nominated actor Aiden Turner currently stars as Aidan Devane on ABC Daytime's "All My Children" (AMC). Although Aiden initially auditioned for a different character role, the AMC producers were so impressed with him, that they created his current character specifically for him. Initially joining the AMC cast in June 2002, Aiden was nominated in 2003 for the "Outstanding Younger Actor in a Daytime Drama Series" Emmy award.

Aiden was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, which is approximately 25 miles north of London. While attending St. Edmund's College, Aiden entered culinary school to pursue his love of cooking. While working as a chef for 2 years in Hertford, Aiden taught himself to mix music and also began working at night as a DJ.

During this time, Aiden followed his dreams and booked a trip around the world, visiting and staying in such exotic locales as Thailand, Malaysia, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and North America. Upon his return to London, Aiden was approached by a modeling agency and his international assignments took him on further travels to Milan, Barcelona, and Paris. Aiden studied acting at the Method Studio Covent Garden in London, which led to commercial and television castings, both abroad and in the United States.

Aiden also recently starred in an independent film, "Manhatannites," which was produced & directed by Gregori J. Martin.
