Alphonso McAuley stars in "Breaking In" on FOX as Calvin "Cash" Sparks.

Originally born in New Haven, Connecticut, Alphonso McAuley moved to Los Angeles with his parents as a child. He found his interest in theater and film, when he joined an improvisational workshop that was part of a school program. His passion for acting led him to Hollywood where he began building a quality stand-up comedy career. McAuley's outgoing personality and stage presence helped him land over forty national commercials and soon casting directors began requesting him for major commercial campaigns for McDonald's, Sprite and Best Buy.

Having established a career in the commercial world, McAuley eagerly pursued film work and his breakthrough debut was in 2004 as Bucky in the comedy "Fat Albert."

McAuley starred as a series regular in the 2008 Comedy Central series, "Chocolate News" with David Alan Grier and as Walt in the 2007 drama, "Pride" with Terrance Howard and Bernie Mac. He also starred in the 2006 basketball drama, "Glory Road" where he gave an impressive performance as Orson Artis, one of the principal players on the team.
