Jory Steinberg at her audition for Season 6 of Fox's American Idol
Jory Steinberg made it to Hollywood on Season 6 of Fox's "American Idol" before getting cut in the first round.  Jory Steinberg auditioned in New York where she sang Tina Arena's "Chains."  Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and guest judge Carol Bayer Sager unanimously voted to put Jory Steinberg through to the next round.  After Jory Steinberg left the audition room, Simon Cowell remarked,  "Why can't they all be like that?  She's good."

Jory Steinberg was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada
but now lives in Santa Monica, California. While she  growing up, Jory Steinberg met many notaries, including several different Prime Ministers of Canada and the Queen of England.  When she was younger, Jory Steinberg performed in the musical "Les Miserables."  Jory Steinberg is 25 years old.
