Amrita Acharia stars in "Game of Thrones" in the recurring role of Irri. A Dothraki handmaiden, Irri bonds with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) by teaching her how to speak Dothraki. This new knowledge opens up communication between Daenerys and her new husband, the warlord Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa).

A young Norwegian actress, Amrita Acharia's other credits include the BBC television series "Doctors" and "Casualty," as well as the Belgian feature film "The Devil's Double." She has also appeared in several independent shorts and has a number of theatrical productions to her credit.

"Game of Thrones" is Acharia's most high-profile project to date.
