Andi Van Willigan from "Hell's Kitchen" is one of the sous chefs on the FOX reality competition series.
For the past four years, Andi Van Willigan has served as the Corporate Executive Sous Chef for the Michael Mina Group. She has traveled across the U.S., helping to open 11 multi-million-dollar restaurants for the group in eight states. Van Willigan's primary responsibility has been teaching the restaurants' line cooks how to execute more than 500 different dishes across four different restaurant
In addition to heading up the World Fare traveling kitchen, Van Willigan has spent two seasons as Gordon Ramsay's sous chef and right-hand woman on "Hell's Kitchen." In this role, she keeps the women's team on task and performing up to Gordon Ramsay's unrelenting standards.
Van Willigan's extensive travels around the world provide the inspiration for the World Fare menu. From South African street food to traditional Italian dishes, she is committed to using only the freshest seasonal ingredients available.
Born and raised in Southern California, Van Willigan has always had a passion for cooking. She grew up helping her father in the kitchen, as dinner was always a sit-down meal for the family and a time to enjoy good food, family and friends.
She began her formal culinary career at the Boston Culinary Group in Pasadena, California. She ran her own catering company before joining the Stonehill Tavern, Michael Mina's acclaimed restaurant in Monarch Beach, California.
Van Willigan continues to reside in Southern California.
