Andrew McFarlane is an instantly recognizable face on Australian screen and stage, having starred in many of the country's most successful TV dramas, including "The Sullivans," "Patrol Boat," "The Flying Doctors," "Water Rats," "Blue Heelers," "Home and Away," "The Alice" and "Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities." "Janet King" and "Rake" for ABC, "Love Child" for the Nine Network and "A Place to Call Home" for Network Seven. He won Most Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor at the 2015 ASTRA Awards and received a nomination at the AACTA Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the TV drama "Devil's Playground," the sequel to Fred Schepisi's classic 1970s film "The Devil's Playground." He more recently appeared in the second series of ABC's political thriller "The Code."

McFarlane's film credits include "Truth" with Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett, "The Falls," "Razzle Dazzle," "Little White Lies," "Returning Lily," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Break of Day" and "Born to Run."

McFarlane has played leading roles in countless main stage productions. For Queensland Theatre Company he has appeared in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "The Heidi Chronicles," "A Month in the Country" and "Corporate Vibes." He has worked for every state theater company in Australia and numerous independent companies. His credits include "Cyrano de Bergerac," "King Lear," "Henry IV (Part 1)," "Private Lives," "Emerald City," "Fame – The Musical," "Nothing Personal," "After the Ball," "Woman in Mind," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?," "Let the Sunshine," "Amadeus," "Arcadia," "The Heretic," "Dreams in White," "I Want to Sleep with Tom Stoppard," "The Graduate," "The Seagull" and "Deathtrap."
