Angell Conwell stars in "Family Time" on Bounce TV as Lisa Stallworth. She also recently played the recurring role of Leslie Michaelson on CBS's soap opera "The Young and the Restless."

Born in the tiny town of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Angell Conwell began her journey at a young age. After winning countless pageants locally, she signed with Wilhelmina's Kids Division in New York at the age of ten. She enjoyed modeling but yearned for more of a challenge. She begged her parents to allow her to audition for a role in August Wilson's highly acclaimed play, "Fences." She landed the role and realized that she wanted to pursue an acting career.

At age 11, Conwell and her mother packed their bags and headed to Los Angeles for pilot season. Right before they were scheduled to head home, Conwell booked the CBS pilot "On Our Own." Although the network didn't pick it up to series, she was soon cast as Meshach Taylor's daughter on CBS's "Dave's World." Over the years, she continued to guest star and recur on dozens of hit shows, including "NYPD Blue," "City Guys," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Moesha" and "3rd Rock from the Sun."

When she was 17 years old, John Singleton cast her in her first silver screen role as Kim in "Baby Boy," starring Tyrese, Taraji P. Hensen and Omar Gooding. Immediately afterwards, she began filming the Lionsgate comedy remake "The Wash" and MGM's controversial "Soul Plane," alongside Kevin Hart, Sofia Vergara and Monique. Comwell has also been in several independent films working alongside veterans such as Lynn Whitfield, Louis Gossett Jr., Vanessa Bell Calloway and Vivica Fox. Most recently, Conwell was seen in National Lampoon's "Sex Tax: Based on a True Story," about the first government-owned brothel, written and produced by David Landsberg.
