Originally from Toronto, Anna Wallner attended the University of British Columbia for her Bachelor of Arts degree and continued on to complete her graduate studies in journalism at University of King's College in Halifax.

Along with Kristina Matisic, she has earned numerous awards as host of "Anna and Kristina's Grocery Bag" and "The Shopping Bags." The latter show ran for seven seasons on W Network in Canada and the Fine Living network in the US. In addition, they host "Anna and Kristina's Beauty Call," which airs on W Network and CosmopolitanTV in Canada.
