Ari Shaffir is the host of Comedy Central's "This Is Not Happening," which focuses on true stories as told by comedians. The stories weave together to form one giant gelatinous ball of epicness.

Stand-up comedian and actor Ari Shaffir describes his comedy as a puppet show, but way filthier and without the puppets. He was a featured stand-up on the HBO comedy series "Down and Dirty with Jim Norton" and has performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and Toronto, the San Francisco SketchFest, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland. He is a regular at all the major clubs in Los Angeles. For the last few years, he has been touring nationally with Joe Rogan.

Additionally, he has appeared on TBS's "Conan" and "Minding the Store," Comedy Central's "Jon Benjamin Has a Van, ESPN Classic's "Cheap Seats: Without Ron Parker," and dozens of national commercials. He also has made a few appearances on "The Opie and Anthony Show." Ari hosts the increasingly popular podcast "The Skeptic Tank" and is a regular guest on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.

Shaffir's satirical shorts "The Amazing Racist" for National Lampoon were a viral sensation garnering millions of views. The title is a play on the reality television show "The Amazing Race." In these shorts, the titular character is seen acting in a manner which is overtly and ironically racist. Shaffir filmed many of his offensive encounters for the DVD "National Lampoon's Lost Reality." Watching the videos makes many people laugh and many people very angry. Shaffir gets death threats at least once a week and loves them all. Please don't watch these videos at work because you'll get fired.
