"Arthur Christmas" is a 3D, CG-animated family comedy that at last reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child's question: 'So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?' The answer: Santa's exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at the heart of the film is a story with the ingredients of a Christmas classic — a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero, Arthur, with an urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.

The voice cast includes James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Bill Nighy, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton and Ashley Jensen.

"Arthur Christmas" is produced by Aardman for Sony Pictures Animation. The film is directed by Sarah Smith from a screenplay by Peter Baynham & Sarah Smith. The co-director is Barry Cook. Producers are Peter Lord, David Sproxton, Carla Shelley and Steve Pegram. The co-producer is Chris Juen, and the co-executive producer is Peter Baynham.
