proven to be unwavering.

Reprising her role as Maggie Jacobs for Season Two of "Extras," Jensen stars with Ricky Gervais as two characters who find themselves on a different film set each week trying to establish themselves in the industry while simultaneously trying to master their personal lives; for Maggie this mainly consists of finding her ideal man. With A-list guest stars such as Kate Winslet, Ben Stiller and Samuel L. Jackson playing parodied versions of themselves on the show, "Extras" continually expands on its comedic direction and range. It recently aired on BBC 2 in the United Kingdom, and the second season of the show premieres on HBO in the United States on January 14, 2007. In 2006 Ashley Jensen won the Rose d'Or Award for Best Sitcom Actress for her work on "Extras," as well as the Golden Nymph Award for Best Actress at the 2006 Monte Carlo Film Festival. Ashley Jensen was also nominated for a BAFTA for Best Comedic Performance by an Actress in a Comedy Series. She was named Comedienne of the Year in 2006 by GLAMOUR Magazine.

Ashley Jensen also starred on ABC's "Ugly Betty." Produced by Salma Hayek, this telenovela-adapted sitcom has proven to be a meteoric ratings success. As Christina, the seamstress for the fictional MODE magazine, Jensen reigns supreme of the fashion closet at MODE, but also proves to be Betty's (Ferrera's) one true ally in the office. The cast recently received a Golden Globe Award for Best TV Series—Musical or Comedy. The cast was recently honored with the Best New Series Award at the 8th annual Family TV Awards, and the Best Television Series—Comedy or Musical Award at the 11th annual Satellite Awards.

Ashley Jensen also starred in BBC America's drama series "Eleventh Hour," opposite Patrick Stewart. As protection officer Rachel Young, Ashley Jensen was able to exercise her acting range in this politically charged suspense/drama. "Rebus," "Clocking Off," "City Central," "Sweet Medicine," "Two Thousand Acres of Sky," "Outside the Rules" and films such as "A Cock and Bull Story" and "Topsy-Turvy" are also some of Ashley Jensen's projects. She will star opposite Maggie Gyllenhaal in the feature film "Hysteria."
