Ashton Kutcher stars in "Two and a Half Men" on CBS as Walden Schmidt.

Ashton Kutcher is an actor/producer and co-founder of Katalyst, a studio for social media—creating original digital media, television and film properties. Based in Los Angeles and New York, the Katalyst mission is to create thought-provoking and compelling content for multiple platforms. Founded in 2000 by partners Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, Katalyst film credits include "The Butterfly Effect," "Guess Who," "Spread" and "No Strings Attached." Katalyst Digital Media properties include Kellogg Cares Feeding America Program, MtDew DEWmocracy, Pepsi Refresh Everything Program, along with Presidential Pledge, 24 Hours at Sundance and the Web reality series KatalystHQ. In 2010, Katalyst was named one of the year's Top 50 Most Inspiring Innovators by Ad Age and one of Fast Company Magazine's Top 10 Most Innovative Companies.

For television, Kutcher has served as co-creator and producer of MTV's hit series, "Punk'd," and The CW's reality series "Beauty and the Geek," "True Beauty" and "The Beautiful Life." He is also the executive producer of the TV Land reality series, "Forever Young."

As an actor, Ashton Kutcher first gained recognition as Michael Kelso on the FOX/Carsey Werner hit comedy series "That 70's Show," which aired for eight seasons. Ashton Kutcher went on to star in a variety of box office hits on the big screen, including "No Strings Attached," opposite Natalie Portman, "Killers," opposite Katherine Heigl, "Valentine's Day," "What Happens in Vegas" with Cameron Diaz, "The Guardian" with Kevin Costner, "A Lot Like Love" with Amanda Peet, and the cult hit "Dude, Where's My Car?" Kutcher stars next in Garry Marshall's film, "New Year's Eve," out in December 2011.

Born and raised in Homestead, Iowa, Kutcher attended the University of Iowa, where he was a biochemical engineering student. He was discovered by a local talent scout and soon began a career in modeling before segueing into acting.

In 2010, Kutcher was named one of Time Magazine's Top 100 Most Influential People. Along with his wife, Demi Moore, Kutcher has created The Demi and Ashton Foundation, to eliminate child sex slavery worldwide.
