"Being Human" (Syfy US TV show) is a drama series in which leading normal lives is a lot harder than it looks for three paranormal roommates — vampire Aidan (Sam Witwer), ghost Sally (Meaghan Rath) and werewolf Josh (Sam Huntington) — who share their secrets and a Boston brownstone. Together they strive to resist the temptations of their true paranormal natures and live lives that are as near to "normal" as possible. Mark Pellegrino ("Lost") co-stars as Bishop, Aidan's charismatic but menacing vampire mentor.

Season 3

Season 2 ended with Aidan buried alive as punishment from vampire leader Mother, Sally lost in a state of limbo, and Josh's plot to kill his Maker Ray, endangering Nora instead.

As Season 3 unfolds, Aidan resurfaces from being "grounded" and finds the vampire community vastly changed; he must find a new approach to feeding that will change his life forever. Sally fights to return from limbo and Josh must deal with an ominous visitor who comes to Boston looking for him and Nora.

Season 4

Over the past three seasons, the supernatural roommates have done their level best to lead traditional, human lifestyles. Due to their true monstrous natures, however, some of their decisions and actions have ranged from questionable to disastrous! But, as the saying goes, everything happens for a reason and beginning with the Season 4 premiere, it's all coming back to haunt them!!!

Season 4 picks up three months after last season's finale with the roommates coping with Josh, who is permanently a wolf. Because the full moon now has a very different effect on him, Nora is driven to extremes in order to get her husband back for good. Meanwhile visitors from Aidan's haunted past, including his maker Bishop and an elusive character bearing an uncanny likeness to his long lost wife Suzanna, collide with the present and Aidan is forced to make impossible decisions affecting those closest to him. Finally, in another realm altogether, Sally finds herself trapped alone with the witch, Donna, but her newfound magical powers may be more than either of them bargained for. Unbeknownst to all of them, a new and dark adversary threatens to destroy their family unit, rocking the very foundations of the life they've built together.

The season features an array of returning guest stars including Mark Pellegrino as Aidan's vampire maker Bishop; Amy Aquino as Donna, a witch whose spells have a lingering effect on Sally; Kyle Schmid as Henry, Aidan's original vampire protégé; Deanna Russo as Aidan's girlfriend Kat; Jesse Rath as Sally's brother Robbie; Sarah Allen as Rebecca, Aidan's Season 1 love interest; Connor Price as Aidan's abominable vampire "son" Kenny; and Katherine Isabelle as Aidan's long lost wife Suzanna.

Executive producers are Michael Prupas ("The Kennedys," "Pillars of the Earth"), Jeremy Carver ("Supernatural") and Anna Fricke ("Men in Trees," "Everwood") who are both writers/showrunners, and Rob Pursey and Toby Whithouse. Irene Litinsky is series producer and Adam Kane ("The Mentalist," "Heroes") is co-executive producer. Muse Entertainment is producing the show, which is based on the acclaimed U.K. series created by Toby Whithouse.
