Cartoon Network's animated series,"Ben 10: Alien Force" is a sequel to "Ben 10."

Five years after the original "Ben 10" series, Ben Tennyson is a normal, well-adjusted teenager who has long ago put away the Omnitrix that gave him his powers. His adventures as a shape-shifting hero are little more than fond memories. Shortly after successfully defeating the alien menace of Vilgax, Ben learned how to remove the watch, and he hasn't needed its powers since. The last thing on his mind was to get involved

in another series of adventures, but that was before he discovers his Grandpa Max is missing.

When Ben goes to visit Grandpa Max, he discovers a bizarre alien searching the "Rust Bucket." Without his powers, Ben manages to drive the creature off, but there's no sign of Max—only a cryptic holographic message from him claiming that he has the Omnitrix. Ben knows something is amiss, as he thought he had the Omnitrix.

Ben discovers the Omnitrix exactly where he left it after taking it off four summers ago, and he rushes off to tell his cousin Gwen Tennyson. Ben decides to put the Omnitrix back on and investigate why his Grandpa Max is missing. Ben doesn't realize that putting on the Omnitrix would transform it, revealing a previously hidden facet: There are 10 all-new alien forms now available to him.

The cousins quickly begin investigating the mystery and discover planet Earth is once again the center of alien activity in the galaxy. A new alien race, the DNAliens, is secretly plotting to destroy not only all life on Earth, but all life throughout the galaxy.

Ben and Gwen are joined in their adventures by Ben's old enemy Kevin Levin. Kevin has recently escaped from the extra-dimensional prison, the Null Void. Kevin will travel with Ben and Gwen, helping them for his own reasons, but sometimes scheming on the side. Together the three young superheroes join forces with other young heroes to save the galaxy and Grandpa Max.

"Ben 10 Alien Force" is produced by Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California.
