Ben Chaplin stars opposite Cynthia Nixon in Starz' epic miniseries "World Without End," based upon the global bestseller by Ken Follett, as Sir Thomas Langley.

Ben Chaplin has appeared in a broad spectrum of film, television and theater projects. Amongst his film credits are "Twixt Now" and "Sunrise," directed by Francis Ford Coppola, "London Boulevard," starring Keira Knightly and Colin Farrell and directed by William Monahan, "Me and Orson Welles," directed by Richard Linklater, "Two Weeks," starring Sally Field and directed by Steve Stockman, "The New World," starring Colin Farrell, Christopher Plummer and Christian Bale, and "The Thin Red Line," both directed by Terrence Malik, and "The Truth About Cats & Dogs," directed by Michel Lehmann.

Television credits include "Mad Dogs" for Sky1, "A Fatal Inversion," "After the Dance" and "Between the Lines" all for BBC, "Minder" for Thames Television and "The Borrowers" for BBC.

Ben's stage credits include "The Reporter," directed by Richard Eyre for the National Theatre, "This Is How It Goes," directed by Moises Kauffman for Donmar Warehouse, "Retreat from Moscow," directed by Daniel Sullivan for the Booth Theatre on Broadway, for which he was nominated for the prestigious Tony award as Best Actor, and "The Glass Menagerie," directed by highly-acclaimed director Sam Mendes for Donmar Warehouse, for which he received an Olivier award nomination as Best Supporting Actor.
