Ben Mendelsohn stars in "Killer Elite," opposite Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro, as Martin. Mendelsohn will next be seen in Joel Schumacher's feature "Trespass" in Louisiana, alongside Nicole Kidman and Nicholas Cage.

Ben Mendelsohn is widely recognised as one of Australia's most outstanding actors.
In 2010, Ben starred opposite Guy Pearce in David Michod's highly acclaimed feature "Animal Kingdom" (winner of the Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Jury Prize). His other recent work includes Rachel Ward's feature debut "Beautiful Kate," alongside Rachel Griffiths, for which he received an AFI Award nomination for Best Lead Actor, David Caesar's "Prime Mover," Alex Proyas' "Knowing," starring Nicholas Cage and Rose Byrne, and Baz Luhrmann's "Australia."

Ben's other credits include Terrence Malick's "The New World," "Vertical Limit," "Black and White," "Cosi," "Idiot Box," "Metal Skin," "Spotswood" and "The Big Steal." Ben played Rupert Kathner in the AFI award-winning docu-drama, "Hunt Angels," and was the voice of Lennie in the animated feature film, "$9.99" that premiered at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.

Ben's work has been extensively acknowledged by his peers with multiple AFI and FCCA nominations. He was awarded the 2001 St Tropez Best Actor award for his lead role in "Mullet," the 1995 FCCA Best Supporting Actor award for "Metal Skin" and the 1987 AFI Best Supporting Actor award for "The Year My Voice Broke."

Mendelsohn received multiple nominations for his role as Lewis in the critically acclaimed television series "Love My Way" and has also guest-starred in a host of high-profile television productions, including "Halifax F. P.," "GP," "Police Rescue" and "The Secret Life of Us." He is currently on screen in the Southern Star series, "Tangle."

He is also no stranger to the theater, have starred in multiple roles ranging from Marc Antony in "Julius Caesar" to Tom in "The Glass Menagerie."
