"Better Call Saul" is a drama series on AMC that is the highly-anticipated prequel spin-off of the Emmy Award-winning series "Breaking Bad."

The new series is set six years before mall-based super lawyer Saul Goodman becomes Walter White's attorney. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. From parking tickets to mass murder, from slip-and-fall to bond fraud, Saul handles it all. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut, a beloved character introduced in "Breaking Bad." The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer." The series' tone is dramatic, woven through with dark humor.

The cast includes Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks ("Breaking Bad," "Wiseguy") as "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut, Michael McKean ("This Is Spinal Tap") as Chuck, Rhea Seehorn ("Franklin & Bash," "House of Lies") as Kim, Patrick Fabian ("Big Love," "Grey's Anatomy") as Hamlin and Michael Mando ("Orphan Black," "The Killing") as Nacho — characters that will represent both legitimate and illegitimate sides of the law.

"Better Call Saul" is produced by Sony Pictures Television. Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan ("Breaking Bad") created the series and serve as co-showrunners. They also executive produce along with Mark Johnson ("Breaking Bad," "Diner," "Rain Man") and Melissa Bernstein ("Breaking Bad," "Rectify," "Halt and Catch Fire") with "Breaking Bad" alums Stewart A. Lyons and Schnauz as co-executive producers.
