Big Lou Verdi Sr. from "In the Big House" stars in the Logo reality docu-series.

Big Lou Verdi Sr. ("In the Big House") was born in 1948 and raised in South Philadelphia. He was involved in organized crime as part of the Bruno Crime Family in the 1970s and his bar, La Strada Café, was a front for his illegal activities which included book-making, numbers running and loan-sharking. Lou served his time, having been in and out of prison at least half a dozen times in his life, but now spends his time in Los Angeles with two of his children, Michel Verdi-Krymis and Louis Verdi Jr., his son-in-law, Jay Krymis, and his beloved dog, Cody, whom he found roaming the streets of South Philly two years ago. The "Archie Bunker" of the family, Big Lou will always tell you exactly what's on his mind — for better or worse.
