"Black Ink Crew" (TV show) on VH1 is a reality docu-series that follows the girls and guys that run the black-owned-and-operated titular tattoo shop on 113th and Lennox, right in the heart of New York City's Harlem. The employees are a tight, but totally dysfunctional "family." For many of them, this shop is the key to turning their lives around, and for some of them, it's their first legitimate job off the streets. Black Ink is more than just a tattoo shop to the people who work there.

The shop is also a magnet for hip-hop stars and athletes, but the real flavor comes from the quite colorful characters that walk into the shop on a daily basis. Inside the doors of Black Ink, you never know what you are going to get. From the sexy new girl on the block, Dutchess, to the party animal of the group, Puma, the characters are crazy, sexy and, most of all, loveable. This hour-long docu-series follows the lives of Ceasar, Dutchess, Alex, Sassy, Puma, and O' Sh!t, as they work, live, party, and hang out in Harlem. The series explores the friendships, crushes, rivalries and craziness that comes when a group of friends become family.

Season 2

Back for a second season, the crew is leaving its indelible mark in the heart of Harlem. With the shop's newfound success, stress levels are through the roof. Self-proclaimed "power couple" Dutchess and Ceaser make their relationship visibly permanent with matching "King" and "Queen" tattoos, while Cease and Puma's 15-year friendship fades away. O'S**t's court visit sparks terrifying tempers at an all-too-real family gathering where both promises and tables are broken. Alex and her opinions are back and bringing the feistiness despite creating even more friction amongst members of the crew. The struggles of running a business intensify when drama is part of everyday shop life. As boundaries are overstepped, rumors fly and arguments erupt, this season is sure to show that family, romance and ink aren't equally everlasting.

Season 3

The gang is all back together for season three. With friendships rekindled and a chance for new beginnings, will this new found truce last?

Ceaser, Dutchess, Puma, Sassy, O'Sh*t, Sky, Ted and Walt are ready to overcome their differences and move on stronger than ever, but the past has a way of providing a serious reality check. As Ceaser focuses on expanding the Black Ink brand and renovating the shop, O'Sh*t has an open trial looming in the distance and another new baby on the way. Dutchess is focusing on herself after her break up with Ceaser by creating amazing tattoos and growing her reputation in the modeling world. Puma and Sassy continue to work to build rival tattoo shop, Ink 124. Ted, Walt and Sky bring their signature shenanigans to the shop with plenty of laughs and larger-than-life personalities.

The doors of Black Ink welcome a new apprentice, Donna, and while it's never easy to be the new girl, she quickly proves she isn't afraid to speak her mind and get her ink on. When a "Mixxxy" party takes a turn for the worse, the crew finds themselves in a dangerous feud that could put an end to the Black Ink world forever.

Season 4

Picking up right after the fight at the fashion show, Puma begins to realize his actions that night will have dramatic consequences. Dutchess contemplates a move back down to North Carolina, to put her focus on family life and her engagement to Ceaser, but Ceaser struggles with the idea of leaving New York. Meanwhile, Sky confronts a past decision that has been tormenting her for years on end. As the crew handles business, Donna strives to gain recognition for her artistry by challenging Ceaser, causing a rift within the group. With all this uncertainty in the air, what will the future bring for VH1's Harlem tattoo artists?

"Black Ink Crew" is executive produced by Dan Cesareo, Doug DePriest and Ken Martinez for Big Fish Entertainment. Executive producers for VH1 are Shelly Tatro, Kari Mcfarland, Rick Hankey and Jeff Olde.
