Bosa Mora from "American Idol 2010" is one of the contestants who has made it to Hollywood on Season 9 of the FOX reality singing competition. He auditioned in Boston, Massachusetts. With the exception of Simon Cowell, all the judges voted yes to send him to Hollywood.
Bosa Mora is singer/songwriter and actor from Columbus, Ohio. His music blends American soul with the West African music of his parents who were born and raised in Nigeria. He has performed along the Midwest and East Coast from Columbus, Ohio, to New York and Boston. He has just recently finished his first CD, which will be available soon.
Bosa's primary goal as an artist is to create music with the ability to move people through their lives. He believes everyone has something unique to offer but we are all connected in our ability to feel and respond to emotions. "I was once told that emotion is the currency of music, and if I cannot make music that can inspire you to smile, sympathize with you when your hurting, or calm you when you worried; my work is of no value." His hope is that his songs can give the listeners an insight into his life and leave them with something they can bring to their own.
Bosa's parents both came from Nigeria but met and fell in love in the United States. He has six sisters and one brother, making for one big happy family. He recently graduated college and is 22 years old.
