Brant Daugherty is relatively new to acting, starting out in Hollywood as a production assistant on various TV and film projects. In 2007, he wrote, directed, and produced a short film entitled "The World's Shortest Man." Acting credits include a lead role in the Teen.com web series "Private."
Daugherty attended Columbia College Chicago, and recently participated (alongside "Dancing with the Stars" alum Chelsea Kane) in a screenplay reading for a film adaptation of the iconic '80s novel "Weetzie Bat."
