Brian Doyle-Murray stars in "Sullivan and Son" on TBS as the gruff barfly Hank.

Brian Doyle-Murray is a preeminent character actor whose numerous memorable performances include his portrayal of Jack Ruby in Oliver Stone's epic "JFK" and the Mayor in the hit comedy "Groundhog Day." His long list of feature film credits include "Daddy Day Camp," "Snowdogs," "Bedazzled," "Stuart Little," "As Good As It Gets," "Waiting for Guffman," "Drowning Mona," "Wayne's World," "Christmas Vacation," "Ghostbusters II," "Cabin Boy," "Legal Eagles," "The Razors Edge," "Sixteen Candles," "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Caddyshack," which he also co-wrote.

Doyle-Murray began his career in the late sixties as a founding member of Chicago's Second City comedy troupe, with Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner and Joe Flaherty. In the mid-70s he moved to New York and went on to perform with John Belushi and several of the Second City alumni in the National Lampoon Radio Hour and live show. A natural progression found Doyle-Murray writing and performing for over 50 episodes of "Saturday Night Live" in the late '70s and early '80s. He was nominated for an Emmy for his writing on the show.

His other television work includes "Yes, Dear," "Lucky," "Family Guy," "King of the Hill," "Seinfeld," "Ellen," "The Martin Short Show," "Married with Children," "Roseanne" and "Bakersfield P.D.," among others.
