Bruce Silverglade in "White Collar Brawlers"
Bruce Silverglade White Collar Brawlers
Bruce Silverglade from "White Collar Brawlers" stars in the Esquire Network reality series. He is the owner of Gleason's Gym.

In 1976, boxing fan Bruce Silverglade quit his job of 16 years at Sears Roebuck to begin refereeing and judging amateur bouts. But since he liked all of the boxers, he found it impossible to be impartial and quit refereeing and turned to the sport's administrative side. From 1980-1985, Silverglade held some of the most prominent positions in amateur boxing: president of the Metropolitan Amateur Boxing Federation, chairman of the National Junior Olympic Committee, and a member of the National Selection Committee.

In 1981, he bought Gleason's Gym, a New York City landmark and one of boxing's grandest institutions. (Gleason's has trained 132 World Champion boxers, including Jake LaMotta, Muhammad Ali, and Roberto Duran.) The gym originally opened in 1937 in the Bronx before being moved to Manhattan and again to Brooklyn, where it remains today.
