Caine Livesay from "Wicked Tuna: North vs. South" is featured in the National Geographic Channel reality docu-series. He is the first mate of the Doghouse fishing vessel.

Caine Livesay was born and raised in Wanchese, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. A true Southerner through and through, Caine knows every inch of the island and every boat trying to navigate Oregon Inlet.

This season he plans to harness all of that local knowledge as he tries to convince his new captain, Britton Shackleford

of the Doghouse that, as a first mate, he is worth his weight in bluefin tuna. Caine may be a veteran to the local fishery, but he hasn't fished for bluefin in over a decade and has never used a bandit reel before. Although Caines work ethic is strong and his commitment is rock solid, it might be a steep learning curve. Britton doesn't have much patience for people who aren't up to his rigorous standards, so it will be a case of shape up or ship out for Caine.
