Born and raised in Midland, Michigan, Cameron Bender moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Michigan State University — a school where he got to play the part of the world famous mascot, Sparty. Surprisingly, he was never asked out on a date because of that. So he packed up his things and moved to L.A., where people are less shallow.
After starting off small as a stunt player on "Lethal Weapon 4," Bender has continually booked roles over the years, appearing on such shows as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Veronica Mars" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." In the last few years he has booked leads in projects such as "Commander and Chief," "Lesser Miracles" and the FOX pilot "Inside Jokes." He has also guest starred in such series as "Whitney," "Femme Fatales," "Perfect Couples," "Rules of Engagement," "The League," "Melissa & Joey," "The Mentalist," "Bones," "Nip/Tuck," "Gilmore Girls" and "My Name Is Earl."
