Cameron Bright landed his first acting break in a commercial for Telus and soon afterwards made a guest appearance on the series "Higher Ground." He then had a supporting part in "The Butterfly Effect," followed by his first major roles in "Godsend," a horror film starring Robert De Niro, and "Birth," starring Nicole Kidman. More recently, Bright played the role of Alec, twin brother to Jane (Dakota Fanning), in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," one of the highest grossing movies of 2009. Bright went on to appear in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," and can be seen in the final installment of the franchise, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." Other credits include "The 4400," "Juno," "An American Affair," "Walled In," "Christmas in Wonderland," "Normal," "Little Glory," "Walled In." More recently, he filmed "Final Girl," opposite Abigail Breslin.
Bright was born in British Columbia, a place he still calls home. Many wonder just how he got into this business and if you ask he will always answer the same, "People always said that I looked like someone from the movies. My mom asked me if I wanted to act and I said okay."
