Candice Kumai from "Playing with Fire" stars in the E! Entertainment reality docu-series. She was also recently one of the judges on the Food Network reality cooking series "Extreme Chef."

After viewers fell in love with her on Season 1 of Bravo's "Top Chef," Candice Kumai became the co-host of Lifetime's hit series, "Cook Yourself Thin" and helped create the show's NY Times #1 best-selling companion cookbook.

With a culinary education from Le Cordon Bleu in California, she has cooked on the line at Roy's and VIP Events at the Ritz-Carlton–Laguna Niguel, has fed and entertained celebs in the Hamptons and Hollywood Hills, and has sliced and diced alongside Wolfgang Puck. A former fit and print model Candice is no stranger to great style and fashion. She's dedicated to making healthful, waist-conscious food that is as delicious as it is appealing on the plate.

Now, Candice is a chef contributor on Cooking Channel's "Unique Eats" and the newest cooking maven on TLC's "Home Made Simple." As well as a regular contributor for healthy lifestyle publications such as StyleCaster, 944 Magazine, Prevention. What is being called "the most gorgeous health inspired cookbook ever published," "Pretty Delicious," was published by Rodale, Candice's first solo cookbook, in February 2011.

Candice divides her time between Los Angeles and New York City for her love affair with good food.
