Carrie-Lynn Neales stars in "Seed" on The CW as Rose, who is a smart, single, and independent woman who has decided to do the whole motherhood thing on her own.

A Toronto native, Carrie-Lynn Neales began performing as a tiny dancer at the ripe age of three. Thus began her career on the stage. Any stage. If there was an audience, Carrie-Lynn would perform.

Graduating from high school after performing in various school productions and winning awards through local drama competitions, Carrie-Lynn

went on to study acting, singing, and dancing at Sheridan College. Moving on to classical theater, she spent her early professional years playing roles such as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Helena in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," Ophelia in "Hamlet," and Viola in "Twelfth Night" with the Toronto-based The Classical Theatre Project.

As Carrie-Lynn began to switch her focus to film and television, she found herself also producing and performing with local independent theater company Red One Theatre Collective. All the while, she kept her instrument sharp in classes with David Rotenberg at The Pro-Actor's Lab, and John Riven's Meisner Technique in Toronto.

In an effort to stay balanced, healthy, and focused, Carrie-Lynn practices and teaches yoga in Toronto on a regular basis and is an avid cyclist, farmer's market goer, and animal lover.

Her recent TV credits include "Nikita," "The L.A. Complex" and "The Rick Mercer Report."
