"The Challenge: Free Agents" is Season 25 of MTV's reality competition series that was originally entitled, "Real World Road Rules Challenge."

MTV travels to Punta del Este, Uruguay, for the new season. 28 money-hungry players arrive in South America ready to take the competition by storm only to find that they'll be facing the most unpredictable Challenge game yet: "Free Agents."

Hosted by TJ Lavin, he 25th season is an individual game. There are no permanent teams, no demanding partners, no one to slow you down. The "Free Agents" answer to no one but themselves. Alliances are useless and tried and true strategies no longer work because players will have no idea if they will be competing in teams, pairs, or as individuals until moments before each challenge begins. They're forced to adjust to whatever is thrown their way because with $350,000 at stake, winning challenges has never been so important.

And losing has never been so nerve-wracking. After each challenge the winners select one guy and one girl to fight for their spot in the game while the losers must take part in the biggest elimination twist in challenge history — the DRAW, where one guy and one girl are selected by pure chance to face the two players nominated by the day's winners. With competitors' fates being determined by a flip of a card, no amount of strategy can protect them.

"The Challenge: Free Agents" contestants include Aneesa Ferreira, Brandon Nelson, Brandon Swift, Camila Nakagawa, Cara Maria Sorbello, Chet Cannon, Cohutta Lee Grindstaff, CT Tamburello, Devyn Simone, Dustin Zito, Emilee Fitzpatrick, Frank Sweeney, Isaac Stout, Jasmine Reynaud, Jemmye Carroll, Jessica McCain, Johnny Bananas, Johnny Reilly, Jonna Mannion, Jordan Wiseley, LaToya Jackson, Laurel Stucky, Leroy Garrett, Nany González, Nia Moore, Preston Roberson-Charles, Theresa González and Zach Nichols.

"The Challenge: Free Agents" was created for MTV by Bunim/Murray Productions. Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein Scott Freeman and Justin Booth serve as executive producers. Jacquelyn French is the MTV executive in charge of production.
