Ching-He Huang is the host of Cooking Channel's reality series "Restaurant Redemption."

Daytime Emmy nominated television host and cookbook author, Ching-He Huang has been with Cooking Channel since the network's launch, hosting the series "Chinese Food Made Easy," which originally aired in the UK on BBC2 as well as "Easy Chinese."

Born in Taiwan, Ching's major food influences stem from the traditional cooking styles of her farming-community grandparents, who lived in the countryside of southern Taiwan. Her family emigrated to South Africa and eventually settled in the UK. Ching remains true to her Chinese culture and heritage through cooking. She applies her family's culinary traditions to her work today by emphasizing the Chinese philosophy of "yin and yang," achieving a healthful balanced diet through the use of hot and cold ingredients.

A passionate food lover and self-taught cook, Ching eventually launched her own food company and became a television regular and the author of best-selling cookbooks "Chinese Food Made Easy," "China Modern," "Ching's Everyday Easy Chinese" and "Exploring China."
