Chris Evans stars in "The Avengers," reprising his role from Joe Johnston's action adventure "Captain America: The First Avenger" as the famed Marvel Comics character, Steve Rogers, who transforms into Captain America after volunteering for a top-secret research project in hopes of defending America's ideals. The latter film has grossed over $369 million at the box office worldwide since it opened on July 22, 2011.
