Claire van der Boom stars in "Game of Silence" on NBC as Marina Nagle.

Since graduating from Australia's prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2005, Claire van der Boom became well known to Australian audiences from her work in the critically acclaimed television dramas "Love My Way" and "Rush." Her first major role in a feature film was in Nash and Joel Edgerton's "The Square," which she followed with the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks produced miniseries, "The Pacific."

Boom has since gone on to appear in the films "Red Hill," "Sisters of War," for which she won a Silver Logie Award for Most Outstanding Actress, and "Love Is Now." More recently she was seen in the romantic comedy "Ruth & Alex," starring Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton, "Chronic," opposite Tim Roth, Kevin Connolly's "Dear Eleanor" with Luke Wilson, "A Year and Change," opposite Bryan Greenberg and TR Knight, and Alison Eastwood's "Battlecreek," alongside Paula Malcomson and Delroy Lindo.

On U.S. television, Boom played the recurring role of Rachel Edwards in CBS's update of "Hawaii Five-0." She also guest starred in NBC's "Constantine."
