Cooper Barnes stars in "Henry Danger" on Nickelodeon as super crime fighter Captain Man.

Cooper Barnes grew up in suburban Michigan, where there is apparently nothing to do but create a repertoire of silly voices and impersonations. He studied theater, film and fine arts at Eastern Michigan University and worked professionally at Ann Arbor's Performance Network Theatre (where he won an Oakland Press Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "Wit") and Detroit's Gem Theatre under the direction of Jeff Daniels.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Cooper has used those silly voices and impersonations in the animated feature "Escape from Planet Earth," the Klasky-Csupo animated series "Splat," Comedy Central's "The Ben Show," Disney's "Electric Spoofaloo," and as a cast member in both the 2012 revival of "In Living Color" on FOX, and "The Men's Room," a sketch comedy pilot created by Mike Wilson of "Politically Incorrect" and "Saturday Night Live."

Cooper also had lead roles in several indie films including "The Guy Who's F*cking Your Girlfriend," "The Perfect Host," opposite David Hyde Pierce, and more recently with Dean Cain in the Ion original movie "Defending Santa."

Cooper's other TV credits include "Switched at Birth," "Pair of Kings," "Californication," "Kickin' It," "Cold Case," "Victorious," "Good Luck Charlie" and "Frank TV."

As a founding member of the award-winning sketch group Frog Island, Cooper has produced several winning shorts for NBC's "It's Your Show" competition and Syfy's "Viral Video Showdown," sold a web series ("Pacino & Pacino Talent Agency") to Comedy Central's Atom.com, accumulated millions of hits on YouTube, and performed at venues like the Westside Comedy Theatre, the Comedy Central Stage, and the Hollywood Improv.

Cooper co-wrote and produced the sketch comedy pilot "Loading Zone," which won Best Variety Show at the Independent Television Awards, and co-wrote the pilot "Paranormalcy." He has written web series content for both Babelgum and Ztudio Productions, hosts the online comic book review show "Cavern of Comics," has appeared in various Funny or Die shorts, and is a recurring panelist on the Reelz Channel series "Hollywood's Top Ten" and "The Countdown."
