Curtis Armstrong hosts the TBS reality competition series "King of the Nerds" along with Robert Carradine. On the big screen, Armstrong can be seen in "Sparkle," opposite Whitney Houston.

After graduating from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Michigan, Curtis Armstrong received his first professional acting break starring as Puck in "A Midsummer's Night's Dream." In the mid-1970s, he moved to New York and continued acting in various off-Broadway productions and tours. His first breakthrough film

role came shortly thereafter when he was cast as Tom Cruise's best friend and confidant, Miles Dalby, in the 1983 sleeper hit, "Risky Business." Since this memorable film debut, Armstrong has appeared in numerous successful films and television shows. Other memorable film roles came in the mid eighties playing "Booger" in the ensemble comedy feature "Revenge of the Nerds" and Charles de Mar, opposite John Cusack, in "Better off Dead."

Further film roles include "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star," "Akeelah and the Bee," "Ray," "Shanghai Noon," "Jingle All the Way," "One Crazy Summer" and "Clan of the Cave Bear." For television, Armstrong starred in the ABC hit series "Moonlighting" with Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard. More recently he has played recurring roles in "The Closer," "The Game," "Boston Legal," "One on One," "Ed" and "Felicity." His guest-starring roles include appearances on "Hot in Cleveland," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Zeke and Luther," "House," "iCarly," "Psych," "Reaper," "Ghost Whisperer," "That '70s Show," "Ally McBeal" and "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman."

Armstrong has recently done a considerable amount of voice work in animated series. He lends his voice to the title character of The Hub's "Dan Vs." and Snot in FOX's "American Dad!" He was also heard as Mr. Moleguaco in Disney Channel's "The Emperor's New School."
