David Costabile stars in "Low Winter Sun" on AMC as David Westwood. He also plays the role of Daniel Hardman on USA Network's legal drama "Suits."

On television, David Costabile is known for his recurring roles in AMC's "Breaking Bad" as Gale Boetticher, FX's "Damages" as the "Bearded Man," HBO's "The Wire," as managing editor Thomas Klebanow, and "Flight of the Conchords" as Doug. His recent guest appearances include "Elementary," "Franklin & Bash," "The Good Wife," "Person of Interest," "Unforgettable," "The Closer," "House M.D.," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Royal Pains," "Lie to Me," "Law & Order" and "The Office."

On the big screen, Costabile has been seen in Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln," starring Daniel Day Lewis and Sally Field, "Henry's Crime," alongside Keanu Reeves and James Caan, "The Bounty Hunter," starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, "Solitary Man," opposite Michael Douglas and Jesse Eisenberg, George Tillman Jr.'s "Notorious," "Prime," starring Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep, Ron Howard's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" with Jim Carrey, "Isn't She Great?" with Bette Midler, and Tim Robbins' "Cradle Will Rock." Up next are roles in Steven Soderbergh's "The Bitter Pill" and New Regency's "Runner Runner."

On Broadway, Costabile starred in the revival of the play "Translations" at Biltmore Theatre, the musical "Caroline, or Change" at Eugene O'Neill Theatre, the musical "Titanic" at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, and Shakespeare's "The Tempest" at Broadhurst Theatre. His off-Broadway credits include "Mr. Marmalade" at Roundabout, and "Two Gentlemen of Verona" at Shakespeare in the Park.

Costabile graduated from Tufts University and received his MFA from the graduate acting program at New York University-Tisch School of the Arts. He was awarded a Fox Fellowship in 2002.
