David Labrava stars in "Sons of Anarchy" on FX as Happy.

David Labrava has been getting published for 11 years. He wrote for the Horse motorcycle magazine until its demise and now has a monthly column in a national Hot Rod magazine called Ol’Skool Rodz, and has been writing for them for eight years.

David started his career in Hollywood as a cameraman for the Zalman King Company ("9 ½ Weeks," "In God’s Hands," "Red Shoe Diaries"). It was during that time he learned how to write scripts; he soon wrote and starred in the "Whiplash ZK" series.

David was hired to be the technical advisor on the hit TV show "Sons of Anarchy." He was cast in the show as “Happy,” the club assassin, and has been with the show since its inception. He wrote a freelance episode of the show for the fourth season.

David owns a tattoo shop in Northern California where he tattoos when he is not filming. He is an accomplished glass artist and a five diploma Harley Davidson mechanic, building Hot Rod cars and bikes for fun, not for profit.

Writing is one of David’s many passions. He sees the film or television show on the page edited, with the music. He writes, acts, produces, edits and directs.
