Demetri Goritsas stars in "X-Men: First Class" as Levene.

Demetri Goritsas was born in the United States, though he comes from Greek and Norwegian parentage. He grew up in British Columbia and has lived for all of his adult life in London, England. He was educated at the highly prestigious Central School for Speech and Drama in London.

Goritsas is a popular character actor, who has spent his career working in both Europe and North America. His film credits include "Saving Private Ryan," "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," "A Mighty Heart," "Thunderbirds," "Spy Game," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," "The Bourne Identity" and "Excessive Baggage."

On television, he recently played a recurring role on the Showtime series "Episodes," appearing as the incompetent director at the helm of a botched show-within-the-show. Other small screen credits include "Baddiel's Syndrome" and "Torchwood." He is also a voice actor and recently lent his voice to several Skype advertising campaigns. 

In addition to all of his television and film work, Demetri is an acclaimed stage actor and a consistent presence on the London stage. He performs regularly at the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Court.
