Don Hany stars in "Heartbreaker" on NBC as Jessie Shane.

Australian actor Don Hany made his television debut in 1998 in the soap opera "Breakers." He went onto appear in other television productions such as "Water Rats" and "Heroes' Mountain" before landing a starring role as senior constable Theo Rahme in the crime drama series "White Collar Blue." Since then, he has played recurring roles in "Underbelly," "Dirt Game," "Tangle" and "Offspring," the latter two series earning him a nomination for

More recently, Hany starred in the crime dramas "Serangoon Road" and "East West 101," for which he won a Silver Logie Award for Most Outstanding Actor in 2010 and an Equity Award for Most Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2012. He also starred in the miniseries "Devil's Playground," as well as the TV movies "Jack Irish: Bad Debts" and "Jack Irish: Black Tide," both based on the novels by Peter Temple.

On the big screen, Hany has been seen in "Healing," opposite Hugo Weaving and Xavier Samuel, "Lucky Miles," which won the audience award for Best Film at the Sydney Film Festival, Jake Kasdan's "The TV Set," alongside David Duchovny, Sigourney Weaver and Ioan Gruffudd, and "The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce." In addition, he starred in the short film "Winning the Peace," earning him Best Actor at the Method Fest Independent Film Festival in 2005.

Hany earned a degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Western Sydney Nepean.
