Ballerini is also an award-winning narrator of audiobooks. Within only a few years after beginning his narrating career, he won several AudioFile Earphones Awards for his work, including Stephen Greenblatt's Pulitzer Prize winner "The Swerve: How The World Became Modern," Jodi Picoult's "The Storyteller" and Jess Walter's "Beautiful Ruins," which also won the Audiobook of the Year from Audible.com in 2012 and the Audie Award for Best Solo Narration (Male). After attending Wesleyan University in Connecticut, Edoardo Ballerini got a scholarship to study Latin in Rome. At first, he was content to pursue his academic studies but soon found it too solitary. "I wanted to leave the isolation of academia and do something different, something more collaborative." Boredom led him to an American theater company in Rome, and by the time he returned to the States, he was committed to acting.

Ballerini lives in New York.
