In 2004, Durance landed the much-coveted role of Lois Lane in the hit show "Smallville" on which she starred until the series ended in 2011. More recently, Durance was a guest star on NBC's "Harry's Law" and "Charlie's Angels."
Durance appeared in the feature film "The Butterfly Effect 2" as the central female character, Julie, who is a bright young professional who takes on a number of different characters as her destiny changes again and again throughout the movie. In addition, Durance starred in "Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" and Lifetime's original thriller "Stranded."
