Her film credits include appearing opposite Samuel L. Jackson in the thriller "Lakeview Terrace" in 2008. On the New York stage, Eva La Rue starred in a production of "Women of 9."
La Rue served two years as spokesperson for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and continues to help raise money for ovarian and breast cancer. Also, she served as host for the 2009 Lupus LA Orange Ball. Currently, La Rue is the national spokesperson for the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a non-profit offering financial aid to those families with members battling cancer as well as offering college scholarships to students with cancer as well as cancer survivors.
A native of Southern California, La Rue lives in Los Angeles with her daughter, Kaya.
