"Flashpoint" Season 5 on ION is a drama which depicts the emotional journey into the tough, risk-filled lives of a group of cops in the SRU (inspired by Toronto's Emergency Task Force). It's a unique unit that rescues hostages, busts gangs, defuses bombs, climbs the sides of buildings and talks down suicidal teens. Members of a highly-skilled tactical team, they're also trained in negotiating, profiling and getting inside the suspect's head to diffuse the situation to try and save lives.

The "Flashpoint" cast includes Enrico Colantoni as Sgt. Gregory Parker, Hugh Dillon as Ed Lane, Amy Jo Johnson as Jules Callaghan, and David Paetkau as Sam Braddock. The recurring cast includes Michael Cram as Kevin Wordsworth, Sergio Di Zio as Mike Scarlatti, Mark Taylor as Lewis Young, Bill MacDonald as Stainton and Tattiawna Jones as Winnie.

"Flashpoint" is produced by Pink Sky Entertainment and Avamar Entertainment, in association with CBS Television Studios. Mark Ellis and Stephanie Morgenstern created the series and serve as co-executive producers along with RB Carney. Anne Marie La Traverse and Bill Mustos are executive producers.

The first three seasons originally aired on CBS in the U.S. "Flashpoint" was originally developed by CTV, Canada's largest privately owned English language broadcast network and Toronto-based Pink Sky Entertainment. The series has been broadcast concurrently in both the U.S. and Canada.
