George Wendt stars om "Buzzy's" on TBS as Buzzy.

George Wendt is best known for his long-running role as bar fixture Norm Peterson in NBC's comedy "Cheers" for which he earned six Emmy nominations over the course of its eleven season run from 1982–1993. Wendt also starred in "The George Wendt Show" and the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of "Alice in Wonderland." He had a recurring role in "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" and "Madigan Men." Guest-starring appearances include "Kirstie," "Portlandia," "Kickin' It," "Harry's Law," "Hot in Cleveland," "Ghost Whisperer," "Less Than Kind," "The Simpsons," "Frasier" and "Becker."

Wendt's film credits include "Kids in America," "The Prime Gig," "Outside Providence," "Forever Young," "Guilty by Suspicion," "Retch," "Gung Ho" and "Rupert's Land" with Samuel West.

On stage, Wendt appeared in the critically acclaimed production of David Mamet's "Lakeboat," directed by Joe Mantegna and won further accolades starring in Yasmina Reza's award-winning play "Art" on Broadway.

Wendt began his career with The Second City, Chicago's famed improvisational company and went on to perform in television, stage and film.
