"Ghost Adventures" (TV show) is a reality series on the Travel Channel that investigates the paranormal. Investigative duo, Zak Bagans and Nick Groff, along with equipment technician Aaron Goodwin, explore some of the most haunted locations in America to unearth the trapped souls and dark energy within.

Season 11

In the season premiere, the team travels to Scotch Grove, Iowa to investigate the 150-year-old Edinburgh Manor. The manor once housed the incurably insane and has documented over 100 deaths within its walls. A menacing dark entity known as "The Joker" terrorizes those who enter, inflicting physical harm. Inexplicable technical issues plague the team from the start. As they make their way to the basement — the center of the Joker's attacks — Bagans and Goodwin experience intense uncomfortable feelings, and Bagans decides to leave before the dangerous energy completely overwhelms him. But the investigation takes a frightening physical turn when Tolley makes contact with an active presence.

In this year's special Halloween episode, the team embarks on a full-scale investigation of Deadwood, S.D. — a notorious rough-and-tough boomtown full of powerful paranormal activity. Known as one of the deadliest towns in American history, Deadwood is shrouded in violence and betrayal. In a lockdown like no other, the crew investigates a number of the town's famed buildings: the Bullock Hotel; Wild Bill Trading Post — reportedly haunted by Wild Bill Hickok; the Fairmont Hotel — formerly the Mansion House brothel; and the Adam House, thought to be the most tragic haunt in town.

Season 10

This season launches with lockdown investigations in five iconic locations and a Halloween special which investigates the ancient Celtic demons that make up the country's haunted Halloween history.

In the season premiere, the investigative trio climb aboard the legendary ocean liner Queen Mary, now permanently docked in Long Beach, California, and considered to be one of the most haunted places in the world. Not long after the ship's maiden voyage in 1936, it was put into military service. Tragedy surrounded the ship — nicknamed the "Gray Ghost" — until 1967 when it dropped anchor for good and became a hotel, still in operation today. Weighing more than 81,000 tons and over three football fields in length, the Queen Mary's haunted history is as large and looming as the ship itself. With reports of multiple apparitions and voices — including that of a former crewman and little girl — the trio prepares for a powerful investigation. They first conduct a séance to channel the spirit of world renowned psychic and paranormal pioneer Peter James, who used the ship as basecamp for his studies and captured EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) of the little girl named "Jackie." Inviting EVP specialist Debbie Constantino on the lockdown, the team splits up to investigate the massive ship and are immediately confronted with disembodied voices, intelligent responses, light anomalies and a figure that will give chills to even the greatest of skeptics.

Season 9

In the season nine premiere, Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin explore the Oman House — a Los Angeles home ridden with paranormal activity believed to be directly related to the infamous Sharon Tate murder by Charles Manson's cult of followers in 1969 — which took place just 200 feet from the property. The team discovers the home also sits atop a Native American burial ground and on a geomagnetic anomaly. Reports include objects moving on their own; sightings of a pregnant, bleeding female apparition walking around outside the home thought to be Sharon Tate herself; and those who enter the house have feelings of overwhelming physical pain and illness. As the lockdown begins, a powerful, negative energy shrouds the space — along with disembodied voices and objects falling over on their own. When Groff experiences burning sensations and severe stomach pains, he's forced to leave the home. What the team documents leaves more questions than answers.

Upcoming episodes include a special investigation of Bannack, Mont. — a lawless, Old West mining-turned-ghost-town with a gruesome, violent past; N.Y. City's Morris-Jumel Mansion, a historic haunt rich with American history and soap opera drama; Katie's Bar in Long Island, N.Y. — a local pub with paranormal activity that is frightening employees; the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, La. — a 215 year-old property that is one of America's most famous haunted locations; a former cement factory with a dark past in Salt Lake City, Utah, which now houses a Halloween fun house with real-life frights; and more.

Season 8

In the season eight premiere, the group heads deep into the Nevada desert to investigate the 100-year-old Pioneer Saloon. The saloon is full of mysterious paranormal activity, ranging from full body apparitions to disembodied voices and plumes of cigarette smoke manifesting out of thin air. As the team digs deeper in the location's history, they discover that not only is it situated near the site of a 1942 plane crash in which actress and wife of Clark Gable — Carole Lombard — was killed. It's also where notorious card cheat Paul Coski was brutally murdered during his final card game. As the trio works to solve the mystery behind this den of doom, they capture startling evidence during their frightening lockdown.

In addition, this season will also feature a special two-hour Halloween episode that takes viewers to Transylvania, where the team will explore the truth behind the legend of Count Dracula, as they investigate the most terrifying haunted castles in this intriguing and historical Romanian province. Other lockdown locations include the 150-year-old Black Swan Inn in San Antonio, Texas; the Tuolumne General Hospital in the old mining town of Sonora, California; the notoriously violent Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City, Missouri; the Yost Theater and Ritz Hotel in Santa Ana, California; a haunted century-old Victorian Mansion just outside of Boston, and more.

Season 6

In season 6, the team visits spots that have never been explored by the "Ghost Adventures" team including the Peabody-Whitehead Mansion in Denver, Colorado, the Shanghai Tunnels in Portland, Oregon, as well as the family home of paranormal equipment inventor Gary Galka in East Granby, Connecticut, where business gets personal as they help one family make contact with their dead daughter in a deeply personal story of love, loss and a haunted house.

Each episode starts with an in-depth profile of a location's haunted past. Once the story is told, viewers follow the investigative team as they survey every nook and cranny while conducting scientific experiments while being locked down overnight. The trio interviews eyewitnesses and historians at each location, arming themselves with the stories of the ghosts they will later provoke and confront during their dusk-to-dawn lockdowns. Then they'll review and analyze their findings with some the most respected experts and specialists in the paranormal field.

The new season kicks off with the trio as they head to Denver, Colorado, to explore the historically haunted Peabody-Whitehead Mansion. Built in 1889, its first owner Dr. William R. Whitehead was convinced the building was plagued by the spirits of hundreds of soldiers he tried to save from his days as a surgeon for the Confederate Army during the United States Civil War. After his death, when controversial Colorado Governor James Peabody moved in to the mansion, things only worsened. The governor was viewed by many as the enemy of the working man and in 1904, the Governor ordered state militia to break union strikes by the region's gold miners by brute force. Hundreds were injured in the violence, and dozens were killed as their bloodshed was on the governor's hands. All the years of torment are now trapped inside this now empty Grant Street mansion. In addition to being the site of a suicide, there have been over 120 years of ghostly activity in the building including reports of visitors being pushed up against the wall by unseen forces!

UFC Fighter Brendan Schaub joins the trio at the Peabody-Whitehead Mansion in hopes to shed some light on the evil entities in order to learn more about the darkness that lies within the walls of this historic location. During the investigation in the basement, it gets personal when a spirit calls out Brendan by name, and then reveals new evidence about an unsolved crime. This turn of events triggers the involvement of the Denver Police Department — currently reviewing the "Ghost Adventures" team's evidence.
