Grayson McCouch stars in "Hollywood Heights" on Nick at Nite as Don Masters.
McCouch is best known for his long-running stint playing Dustin "Dusty" Donovan on the daytime soap opera "As the World Turns" from 2003 – 2010. The role earned him a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the Daytime Emmys in 2006.
Originally from New York City, Grayson McCouch received his Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Theater from Hamilton College and later studied at the British American Drama Academy
After graduating from the British-American Drama Academy and appearing on the London stage, McCouch returned to New York and promptly landed a role on the comedy pilot "Sibs" (1991). This role led to a three-year stint on the drama "Another World" (1964) as Dr. Morgan Winthrop in 1993. McCouch eventually decided to leave the show to pursue a film career in Los Angeles. The actor starred on "Legacy" (1998) where, on the set in the pastoral backdrop of Richmond, Virginia, he fell for co-star Sharon Leal, but things fell apart soon after he followed Leal to San Francisco for her run in the musical "Rent." He also starred in "All Souls" (2001) where he became good friends with cast mate Daniel Cosgrove and appeared with him on "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990).
McCouch's film credits include the blockbuster hit "Armageddon" (1998) and such movies-of-the-week as "Sins of the Mind" (1997), "Airtight (1999) and Momentum (2003), co-starring Louis Gossett Jr. and Teri Hatcher.

He spent four seasons with the Williamstown Theater Festival where he performed in "Arturo UI," "The Visit," "Threepenny Opera," "A Midsummer's Night Dream," "Inherit the Wind" and "The Moon Stone." While in London, the actor also performed in "Electra" at the Almeida Theater and "Women Beware Women" at the Royal Court. He was drawn to veteran theater and film actress Betty Buckley, who is around 20 years his senior, when she took the stage at the Williamstown Theatre Festival just before he got the job at AW.
