Griffin Dunne is an accomplished director, actor and producer who quickly established himself with the short film "Duke of Groove," for which he received an Academy Award nomination. His feature film directorial debut was "Addicted to Love," starring Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick. He then went on to direct "Practical Magic," starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

"Accidental Husband," staring Uma Thurman, Colin Firth and Jeffery Dean Morgan. He was also seen in David Gordon Green's "Snow Angels," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Dunne's more recent TV credits include appearances on "The Good Wife," "White Collar" and "Leverage." He also starred as Tony Mink on TNT's "Trust Me."

Dunne's career began when he moved to New York City to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse. He soon appeared on Broadway in "Search and Destroy," written by Howard Korder. For his work in theater, Dunne has received a Theater World Award, as well as a nomination for a Drama Desk Award.

Dunne segued into film as a producer and actor on the drama "Chilly Scenes of Winter." That led to starring roles in "An American Werewolf in London"; "Johnny Dangerously"; "Lisa Picard is Famous," which he directed; and most notably Martin Scorsese's "After Hours," which Dunne also produced and for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.

One of Dunne's more recent directorial projects was the touching and poignant coming-of-age drama "Fierce People," starring Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland. He also co-starred in and produced "Game 6." Dunne's other producing credits include John Sayles' "Baby It's You" and Sidney Lumet's "Running On Empty," Luis Mandoki's "White Palace" and Lasse Hallström's "Once Around."

On television, Dunne received an Emmy nomination for a guest star appearance on the show "Frasier" and has been nominated for two CableACEs for his work on HBO and Showtime.
