"Gypsy Sisters" (TV show) on TLC is a reality series that goes to the thriving Gypsy community in West Virginia to experience life in the Stanley family, a loud and proud clan that was first introduced in the series "My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding." Now, the new series takes a closer look at the four women who lead this outrageous family with their own set of rules, and where everything is taken to the extreme, including their fights and their love for each other. The cast includes wild child Mellie Stanley York, best known for her stripping and violent temper, her meddling sister Nettie Stanley, cousin Kayla Williams — a traditional Gypsy — and lovable sister-in-law Laura Johnston.

Season 2

Matriarch Nettie Stanley, wild child Mellie and cousin Kayla return with tensions running higher than ever. With the family in a bitter divide, new members of the clan — JoAnn, Annie and Sheena — travel to West Virginia to help bring the family back together.

Tending to the family, cooking, cleaning and being a proper gypsy wife is the utmost priority, but these gypsy women are far from traveling in caravans and telling fortunes from a crystal ball. They strut their stuff on the streets of Martinsburg, West Virginia, dressed to the nines and engage in their favorite pastime: gossip! Though exchanging family secrets can lead to all-out war, these ladies don't back down!

Fresh out of jail and pregnant with her first child, the unruly black sheep of the Stanley troop, Mellie, stokes the flames of drama that surround her older sister, Nettie. The Stanley sisters, armed with verbal weaponry and fists of fury, are a force to be reckoned with. Nettie's feud with cousin Kayla comes to a head with a colossal gypsy brawl, and after the dust settles, the family is left in a bitter divide. Catching wind of the unfortunate details, sweet Stanley sister JoAnn travels from Tennessee to Martinsburg to help heal wounds. She hopes to bring the family back together, but when her new boyfriend decides to run from the law, JoAnn is caught between her gypsy family and her summer fling.

Kayla's fiery cousin, Sheena, and her younger sister, Annie, have both separated from their husbands and moved to Martinsburg to stay with Kayla for the summer. Sheena and Annie comfort Kayla as she licks her wounds after her brawl with Nettie. While Kayla vows never to associate with Nettie or Mellie ever again, can her house guests convince her otherwise?

Season 3

The third season chronicles more Stanley family drama as they navigate breakups, makeups and road trips, giving viewers a one-of-a-kind look at the jaw-dropping ways of the infamous gypsy clan.

Coming off a tumultuous ending to last season, matriarch Nettie and her cousin Kayla aim to put the bad blood behind them and move on for the sake of their families. With their lives so intertwined, their ailing relationship takes a toll on the whole unit, and the other girls try to help patch things up for everyone. Kayla relies on the ladies as she struggles in her 17-year marriage to Richard, and her relationship with Nettie, although rocky, helps her get through these tough times. Mellie, the group's self-proclaimed wild child, now has a child of her own which has calmed her partying ways, and her focus has changed from drama to providing a stable life for Richard. That doesn't stop her, though, from putting her nose in other people's business which gets her in trouble. Joann finally comes into her own, and after living with Nettie for a year, she feels she has her own voice and can fight for her family. Annie, after learning how to be a traditional gypsy wife, seems to have it all, but in typical gypsy style, there are always unexpected surprises.

Throughout this season, follow the Stanley ladies as they take a road trip back to the horse races complete with a tricked out party bus and venture on an epic trip to New Orleans that leads to true gypsy Bourbon Street brawls. The family also celebrates birthdays for both baby Richards, and their moms Dallas and Mellie try to put their issues aside and make the day special for their sons. With Nettie's lupus in remission, she is focused on her health and uses her traditional gypsy remedies to live a healthier lifestyle. The season culminates with a beachside vow renewal ceremony, but in true gypsy fashion, everything is down to the wire and nothing is as it seems.
